Weather resistance & Durability

• Resin tiles: Excellent weather resistance and can resist the erosion of natural factors such as ultraviolet radiation, rain, wind and sand. They are not easy to fade, age or crack. Their service life can generally reach 20-30 years or even longer.
• Colored steel tiles: The metal material itself has a certain degree of corrosion resistance, but if the surface coating is damaged, the metal is exposed to the external environment, it is easy to rust and deform, thus affecting its service life

Heat insulation and sound insulation performance

• Resin tiles: The material density is relatively high, and it has good heat insulation performance, which can effectively reduce the transfer of indoor and outdoor temperature. At the same time, it also has a certain sound insulation effect, which can reduce the interference of external noise.
• Colored steel tiles: The thermal conductivity of metal materials is strong, and the heat insulation performance is relatively poor. • Colored steel tiles: with steel plates as the base material, they have excellent mechanical strength and load-bearing capacity, can withstand greater pressure and weight, and are suitable for large-span buildings, such as factories, warehouses, stadiums, etc.

Difficulty of construction and maintenance

• Resin tiles: Light weight, relatively simple installation, no need for large construction equipment and professional technicians, but strict requirements on the spacing of purlins. Maintenance is relatively easy, just need to regularly clean the dust and debris on the surface.
• Colored steel tiles: Due to their heavy weight, professional construction personnel and equipment are required to operate to ensure the safety of the installation. It is necessary to regularly check the integrity of the coating and repair scratches and rusted parts in time to extend its service life.

Cost

• Resin tiles: The initial material cost is relatively high, but its service life is long and the maintenance cost is low. In the long run, the comprehensive cost have certain advantages.
• Colored steel tiles: The initial cost is low and the price is relatively affordable. It is suitable for projects with limited budgets, but due to its short service life, it needs to be replaced and maintained more frequently, and the long-term cost may increase.
